The Volunteer Albania Summer program offers you the unique opportunity to have an unforgettable summer experience of educational exchange and cultural immersion in communities that uphold hospitality and "Besa" as a core value.
Albanian National Trust is the non-profit arm, non-governmental organization founded by Auron Expeditions. In response to strong interest from first time travelers that have visited Albania in the early 1990’s and wanting to know how they can “help”, our program began.
Combined with great people from around the world that possess a passion for making a positive impact by volunteering their expertise, trade or mentorship, DISCOVER ALBANIA was born. Our work has motivated others not only in the U.S. but an overwhelming amount of support from volunteers around the globe.
Since its inception in 1994, ANT it has built 2 schools and 1 hospital in the south of Albania. We have developed the handicraft center in Butrint where over 35 families are supported today. ANT leads the country today in organizing study abroad programs, volun-tours, restoration projects and field school study programs. If interested contact us for more details.
